Destination Seneca County, in partnership with the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission (TMAC), the Fostoria Community Arts Council (FCAC), and Ballreich’s Potato Chips, announced the launch of the first annual Sights of Seneca County Official Chip Contest earlier this year. Seventeen submissions were received from the Seneca County community and voting for the Sights of Seneca County Official Chip Contest is now open.
Voting is open now until December 12, 2022. Community members will vote on their favorite design and favorite flavor. The top design choice and top flavor selection with the most votes will be combined to become the official chip of Seneca County. Community members can vote for their favorite design and flavor at www.ChipVote.com.
The winner of the Sights of Seneca County Official Chip Contest will be announced to the public the week of December 19, 2022, with all participants made aware prior to that announcement. The winner of the official chip contest will receive a $500 cash reward sponsored by the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission and the Fostoria Community Arts Council.
The community is encouraged to share their favorite design via social media and word of mouth to help promote voting. The Sights of Seneca County Official Chip Contest chips will be available for sale at participating locations and online. A portion of the proceeds from purchased bags will go back to the Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission and the Fostoria Community Arts Council to support arts in the Seneca County community.
