Calling all train enthusiasts and history buffs! Mark your calendars for the 22nd Annual Fostoria Rail Festival, taking place on Saturday, September 28th, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Held at the Fostoria Junior/Senior High School and the nearby Elementary School, this exciting event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the rich railroad heritage of Fostoria, Ohio.

Immerse yourself in the world of trains with model train layouts, train merchandise, mini train ride, kids activities, photo contest, and more! Beyond trains, attendees can also enjoy the soup contest, amazing food from the cafeteria, and family friendly fun for all ages! Once you have explored all that the Rail Festival has to offer, you can make your way to the Iron Triangle to see the iron beasts up close and personal. The Fostoria Iron Triangle Railpark is a 5-acre tract directly inside the three double-track mainline freight rail lines that meander through Fostoria. Open 24/7, this park provides a 360-degree viewing platform that allows one to experience the sights and sounds of the 60-plus trains that pass through Fostoria daily. Make sure to check out the freshly painted B&O caboose while you’re there!
