Copper Mare Ranch, located at 6090 N. SR 53 right outside of Tiffin, is set to host their first rodeo on July 23 that will bring up to 75 contestants from across the country that ride in the International Professional Rodeo Circuit. Gates will open at 4 PM and presale tickets are $15 and free admission to kids ages 5 and younger. To purchase presale tickets, click here. Tickets at the gate are $20. Events for the evening include bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping, and steer wrestling.
Copper Mare’s Rocket Donkey Diner, featuring Meatwagon BBQ, will also be providing a variety of options for food throughout the night.
The ranch sits on the family farm just north of Fort Seneca. Copper Mare Ranch is an equine event center that offers three levels of boarding, riding and rodeo-style clinics and open rides. The new 20,000-square-foot indoor arena and 37,000-square-foot lighted outdoor area.
Horses boarded at the state-of-the-art facility have access to large stalls, professional feeding plans, daily turnout, as well as indoor and outdoor wash bays. Owners of horses boarded at Copper Mare Ranch will be invited to take advantage of a heated and air-conditioned rider’s lounge, and no grounds fees for shows. The ranch also has a veterinary tech on site with support from the owners who live on the grounds.
The Owner, Grant Fatzinger, has an extensive 15-year rodeo background that ranges from bull and bronc riding, team roping, tie-down roping, and two-man ranch sorting. Heather Clouse is the Director of Operations. She is a registered veterinary technician with more than 15 years’ experience in the equine industry.
