The Fostoria Area Historical Society and the St. Wendelin Parish are partnering for a third straight year to host Heritage Day featuring the St. Wendelin Mini-Fest in downtown Fostoria on July 29.
The Fostoria Area Historical Society will be hosting their free car show with classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles, a DJ, and a antique show from 11 AM to 3 PM on Main Street. The Governor’s Choice, Audience Vote, Longest Distance, Oldest Ride, and Best Modern (after 1998) will awarded to participants. Participants can register online here or they can download a paper registration form off here. The registration fee is $10 and goes back to supporting the mission of the Fostoria Area Historical Society. The society will also be hosting free museum tours throughout the event.
The St. Wendelin Parish will be hosting their Mini-Fest from 11 AM to 11 PM and serving their famous bratwurst and beer, along with other food vendors. They will have kids activities, free bouncy houses, a $3,000 grand raffle, and live music from 7 to 11 PM by SugarCreek. Tickets for the grand raffle are $1 each, $5 for 6 or $10 for 14 and be purchased at the St. Wendelin Parish office.
