The summer season may be cooling down, but events in Seneca County are heating up! This week (9/13 – 9/17) is packed full of AWESOME events throughout Seneca County for everyone to enjoy. See below for a full line up and details to plan your week, you will not want to miss out!

3rd Thursday | Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party (9/16)
The next 3rd Thursday in Tiffin, OH will be the Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party! Head to Downtown Tiffin on Thursday September 16th, from 6pm to 9pm. Stroll through the largest Pizza Party event EVER in Downtown Tiffin and redeem $1 tickets for a pizza item from participating vendors. Half of each ticket will go to the Salvation Army Tiffin Citadel. To enjoy with your pizza, grab a drink/DORA beverage to-go while you explore! This event is sponsored by the Seneca County Young Professionals.
Trivia Night (9/16)
Trivia Night in Downtown Tiffin is a collaboration between TSEP and the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library. Our goal is to bring people of our great community together for a fun-filled evening while supporting locally owned businesses. Teams can register prior to the event by calling the library at 419-447-3751 or online at tiffinsenecalibrary.org. Registration often fills quickly! The night of the event, teams will write their answers and submit them to the judges during four rounds of general trivia. At the end of the night, the winning team gets to take home the traveling Trivia Night trophy!
Live Music with Beth Mattia (9/17)
Enjoy the musical talents of Tiffin’s own, Beth Mattia. Beth performs at The Renaissance of Tiffin every Friday night from 9pm to midnight. Head to downtown Tiffin at 129 S. Washington St to enjoy a trip back in time to a roaring 20’s speakeasy. With great drinks, good music, and the best company, your Friday night is sure to be the cat’s pajamas.
Fostoria Farmers’ Market (9/18)
The Fostoria Farmers’ Market will take place this Saturday from 9am – 1pm at E. Tiffin and S. Main Streets in downtown Fostoria! This week’s theme is “Harvest Happenings” and is sponsored by Mennel. Special activities for the market include Mennel celebrating 135 years in the Fostoria community and at their booth attendees will have the chance to participate in a number of interactive activities to earn prizes! In addition, the Ohio State University Extension of Seneca County and SNAP-Ed-Kids will be having a learning activity for kids using pumpkins, and Fostoria Baptist Church and Pastor Ryan Brown will have free water, snacks, and special activities.
JAM’s Heritage Vintage Market (9/18, 9/19)
JAM’s Market brings together small businesses, boutique vendors, artists and crafters for a unique shopping experience. JAM’s Monthly Markets, 145 Madison St. will take place every third Thursday weekend, Thursday through Sunday, along with three large vendor events throughout the year — JAM’s Holiday Open House, JAM’s Spring Market and The Heritage Vintage Market. This weekend features the large vendor event of the JAM’s Heritage Vintage Market with 100+ vendors, food, fundraising, and something for everyone!
Live Music with Jake Heil (9/18)
Head back to Downtown Tiffin and grab a seat and a drink at The Renaissance of Tiffin to enjoy the music stylings of Jake Heil. Jake will begin playing at 9pm and continue until midnight. You will not want to miss this local talent!
Ladies of Harmony (9/18, 9/19)
A play by Ron Hill (An event in The National Theatre at The Ritz)
The laughter is nonstop in this hilarious comedy. Six church ladies arrive at Harmony Church’s fellowship hall to plan a small funeral dinner for a man they despised. While eating doughnuts, drinking coffee and gossiping on a variety of topics including Pastor Bob’s go-go dancing fiancée, the church ladies engage in a game of “what-ifs” and “I-wish-I-hads,” and in doing so, reveal several secrets about themselves. Saturday 7:30pm, Sunday 2pm
Seneca County Geo Trail: Kick Off Events (9/18, 9/19)
Join us as we kick off the only Geocaching Trail in Northwest Ohio! We will be at JAM’s Monthly Market on Madison Street in Tiffin, OH for our kick off events and where the Seneca County Geo Trail will officially go live. The Seneca County Geo Trail sends you on the ultimate treasure hunt throughout the county. Along the way you may find some path tags, discover new places, and create lasting memories. Completion of the trail will earn you a unique Geocache Coin! Saturday (9/18) find the table from 10am-4pm and attend the event that will be focused on learning to Geocache and everything you need to know. On Sunday (9/19), the trail will officially launch, so stop by, get some FREE pancakes, and get hunting.
