Join us for the 2023 Max's Miles Suicide Prevention Awareness Event!

Max's Miles will take place Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Hedges Boyer Park. This is a community event designed to raise awareness for Suicide Prevention. Families, Friends, and Community Members gather to remember those lost by suicide and to raise awareness about suicide prevention. In addition to the walk, there will be kids' activities, a bounce house, a food vendor, raffle baskets, 50/50 drawing, music, a self-care and meditation tent, an art tent, and much much more.

9:00 am - Registration begins, vendors open
9:00 am - WELCOME
9:15 am - Laps Begin (dog lap, kids lap, community lap)
10:30 am - Open Mic sharing/ Reflections/ Testimonials
11:15 am - Raffle Drawings

Dear Potential Sponsor:
We invite you to participate in our community event for Suicide Prevention Awareness coming in October
2023. The event will be a way to get information out to the community about prevention for this
community issue. In the Seneca, Ottawa, Sandusky, and Wyandot County region that the Mental Health
and Recovery Board serves, there have been 199 suicide deaths from 2016 - 2022. Please join us in making
a difference!
On October 7, 2023, there will be a community walk at Hedges Boyer Park. This will be the sixth annual
Max’s Miles event. The event has grown over the years to include a dog lap, kids lap, family-friendly
activities such as live music, face painting, a bounce house for kids, and community providers sharing
information about help in the community.
Below are the sponsor opportunities (Please select the level you would like to participate):
____$25.00 for a 5 Mile Sponsor – Name listed in the event program
____$50.00 for a 10 Mile Sponsor – Name listed in the event program and announced at the event
____$100.00 or more for a 20 Mile Sponsor – Name listed in the event program, announced at the
event and listed on shirts
____ Gift basket Donation. Please show your support of those battling addiction and kindly refrain
from including alcohol or lottery tickets. Please include a description of the contents of your basket,
including the value. It is suggested to turn in your basket donation by 9/20/23. This will allow us to
show our appreciation by including your name on our list of sponsors and create a tag for your
basket.
