This is a summer adult weekend at camp (8877 TR 131, McCutchenville) held July 17-21, 2024. The cost is $250.

There are plenty of reasons why you should attend, but here are the top three:

First, Camp Pittenger has a rich and meaningful history with our local community. Owned and operated by the Tiffin YMCA from 1938-1978, it is a Seneca County time capsule and gem! Here is an opportunity to step back in time while also making history today and participating in actual living history and building precious memories.

Second, Wellness Week 2024 is an affordable top-quality self care retreat. Self care getaways usually have a big price tag and are far away. Here is a valuable getaway that is local and within the budget. WW24 features a professional staff of licensed counselors, Bible teachers from all across the state, healthy cooks in the camp kitchen and an experienced fitness professional specializing in 50+ year olds! Locals can choose to stay in cabins or sleep at home and commute to camp. All meals are included. A special camp time planned with friends from Seneca County Opportunity Center is a bonus experience you won’t want to miss.

And finally, your paid tuition goes 100% to support this historical camp. This summer, NWOCYC is thriving and building a new dining hall and at the same time dedicating efforts to save and preserve the old original 1940 Tappan Lodge. It is this lodge and this rich history that put Camp Pittenger on the prestigious list of the National Registry of Historic Places just last year.
