Join Rob Weaver, brewer at the Laird Arcade Brewery (LAB), as he reveals the history of breweries in Tiffin, including one that converted to a dairy amidst Prohibition. Rob will also provide tours of the LAB and explain the brewing process, while guests can choose to sample a variety of current beers on tap.
Additionally, the Laird Arcade building - where the brewery is housed - is historic in its own right! Built in the mid-1800s by Rezin Shawhan, the Laird is now home to a variety of businesses. Manager, Tyler Schuff will provide tours of the Laird Arcade building during this event as part of the “Ohio Open Doors” initiative.
The Laird building can be found at 114 S. Washington St. in Tiffin. This event is free and open to the public, and the schedule is as follows:

5:30 PM-5:45 PM
- Arrive at the LAB
- Sample beers on tap (optional)

5:45-6:15 PM
- Presentation by Rob Weaver on the history of breweries in Tiffin

6:15-6:30 PM
- Tour the LAB facilities and learn about the brewing process

6:30-7:30 PM
- Tour the Laird Arcade building and visit Laird businesses
