Spring Volunteer Training
April 22 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Organizer: CASA of SSW
Have you been hearing a lot of people talk about all the negative things in today’s world and want to do something to help bring positivity back into it? Do you have some spare time and are looking for something meaningful to do with it? Court Appointed Special Advocates, or CASA, is the thing for you! CASA trains everyday people, such as yourself, to advocate for abused and neglected children in court. As a CASA volunteer, you would be the child’s voice in court to recommend to the Judge what is in the child’s best interested, as well as sharing what their wishes are. In many cases, the CASA volunteer is the only consistent adult during this traumatic time in their life.
If you want to be part of the solution in making sure the children in your community are taken care of, then call our office at 419-448-1442 or visit our website for an application today! Be the person you needed when you were younger.
