Ohio Institute of Osteopathic Medicine, LLC
Dr. Zachary West offers Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Osteopathic Cranial Manipulative Medicine, Direct Primary Care, and Aesthetic Medicine.
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an alternative payment and practice model for primary care services. The focus of a DPC practice is putting the personal relationship back into patient care which includes access to your actual physician. DPC physicians offer services for a flat monthly rate instead of a traditional fee for service arrangement. DPC physicians do not file insurance claims. DPC physicians work directly with the patient instead of the insurance corporations to offer increased access to care, faster scheduling, more time with your physician, and better and more cost effective options for medications, labs, imaging studies, and more.
Osteopathic physicians understand that every individual expresses health and disease differently. The absence of disease does not imply the presence of health. Osteopathic physicians are trained to recognize changes in body structure that alters function and contributes to disease. Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is the application of osteopathic philosophy, structural diagnosis, and use of osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) in the diagnosis and management of an individual patient. OMT is the therapeutic application of manually guided forces by an osteopathic physician to improve physiological function.
Aesthetic Medicine comprises of medical procedures aimed at improving the physical appearance and satisfaction of the patient, using non-invasive or minimally invasive cosmetic procedures. Dr. West and J. Dian West, RN are both trained and certified through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) and currently offer botulinum toxin (i.e. Botox®, Xeomin®, etc.) and dermal fillers (i.e. Juvederm®, Revanesse®, etc.) in the office.
